Voyager was released a year ago. The unreleased song list still hasn't been published. When will this jelly in the Hive be in a publishing database?

I think we can safely assume they are all Feldmann songs which makes you wonder how bad they are if songs like Good Feeling and Dodging Raindrops were determined to be better suited to see the light of day.

Yeah like that "summer!!" one. I'm willing to bet those songs will get shopped around and re-recorded by other artists if they haven't already. My guess is that part of the outcome of the meeting we heard about 311 having to determine the direction of the album and to spend more time on it was to ditch that shit in fear of alienating long time fans even more with the direction they have dipped their foot into on Mosaic and Voyager.

I had no clue that there is a list of unreleased material from Voyager, true?
Maybe it's better stuff idk, like for example:

    We didn't get:

Outside or Tribute (I think these songs are f'n awesome/amazing from Blue sessions, but we're not even on the album and I know one was for soundtrack.

Transistor.. not going there, I dig everything Transistor, even after waiting 18 years for the rest..(supposedly)

Soundsystem.. well any one of these b-sides Dancehall, Cali Soca or at least Seal the Deal (pre pro version I mean) is better then Evolution, I know I could say Leaving Babylon because I know many of you dislike it, but it's actually one of my favs despite a cover song, instrumentally it's cool imo.

From Chaos? pssh would could of had Bomb the Town as an opener instead of You Get Worked, add in Dreamland too, those two b-sides are some of my favs, this album is still my favorite but I still have criticism on it.

Evolver, well I though for sure What Do You Do? would of been on there, maybe Time is Precious idk, but they settled for SMT, I remember Reconsider Everything, What Do You Do? and Same Mistake Twice all being played live well over a year before Evolver came out back in early 2002. What Do You Do? Is a good one, guitars and drums always catch my ear on that one.

DTOM (n/a) maybe THAW? Into the Flame the actual version we got in Archive was good to me, that's about it besides the Go demo (Ebb and Flow).. hell even Frolic Room's demo sounded better!! (When the historic demo leaks of 05') especially the promo version! Album version is crap, but I like the song:/

Uplifter: well I consider this a 16 track album, because of How Long has It Been, I Like the Way, Sun Come Through* and Get Down* were technically released with it, but most know it as a 12 track album, but two of those songs out of 4 are 10/10, I will say HLHIB has nice guitars no doubt. And what the hell happen to this so-called "I Was Wrong* song? WoS and Simplify we got.

The rest is history, 311 started getting better and better again with each album after Uplifter.. well UP I'm kind 50/50 on but yea, you know what I mean

The point is, is sometimes I look forward to unreleased material because then I can sit there puzzled wtf it wasn't on the album. And alot of this material that's unreleased becomes good, well sometimes.

I believe the reason we're aware of there being other songs is because P-Nut mentioned they did something like 7 tracks with Feldmann but Voyager only ending up having 4. So if that's true, then in this particular case, the songs that were held back are quite likely NOT to be bangers like those ones you mentioned.

Did Scotch's version of Places That the Mind Goes, which is likely the missing BMI #24275914 in the database, ever get recorded?

Beautiful Baby is an unreleased NHQ song. Way Up, Let's Party, and Thrive Not Sink are unreleased pre-Music songs. Summer of Love on Archive was recorded for Grassroots.

Summer Of Love is before Music. I think I've heard Thrive Not Sink. Never heard of the others

Summer of Love was recorded again for Grassroots. The Archive recording is from the Grassroots sessions. Where did you hear Thrive Not Sink? You don't mean Thriving to the Scene? Be a Crime is also pre-Music.

Ah, okay. How do you know it was re recorded for Grassroots? Man, it was a long time ago, probably 20 years or so. I might be confusing it with Thriving To The Scene but I've heard that one several times.

I found out here that Summer of Love on Archive was recorded for Grassroots. Did you really hear Thrive Not Sink, even though a recording was never released?

Has Thrive Not Sink ever been played at all? I found poor quality live footage of Be a Crime, which has no recording released.
