Tooling around it’s nonsense for entertainment I get but posting and interacting on it is for “special” people.
LOFL... keep taking those losses Trump. Barr: No evidence of fraud that’d change election outcome https://apnews.com/article/election...william-barr-b1f1488796c9a98c4b1a9061a6c7f49d
Trump’s only harming himself with his nonsense at this point. Even Barr today said the Justice Department has found no evidence of widespread fraud (Edit: As first reported above by @TiCal). Trump’s an old man yelling at a cloud. Nobody with an ounce of sanity believes anything he’s saying. (There’s still a shit-ton of people in this country without an ounce of sanity, but I digress.)
Yeah that last part about a lot of people in this country not having sanity is too true. That's the problem in having Trump in his position, his influence over these people is dangerous. His total willingness to disregard reason, tradition, facts, science, etc. totally enables all the crazies out there that I think are the main reason we perceive such a divide right now.
Literally, every day, I hear multiple people say that Trump is going to remain the president. Someone said Obama was arrested for treason this morning. Lol
Justice Department investigating potential presidential pardon bribery scheme, court records reveal By Katelyn Polantz, CNN Updated 6:13 PM ET, Tue December 1, 2020 (CNN)The Justice Department is investigating a potential crime related to funneling money to the White House or related political committee in exchange for a presidential pardon, according to court records unsealed Tuesday in federal court. The case is the latest legal twist in the waning days of President Donald Trump's administration after several of his top advisers have been convicted of federal criminal charges and as the possibility rises of Trump giving pardons to those who've been loyal to him. The disclosure is in 20 pages of partially redacted documents made public by the DC District Court on Tuesday afternoon. The records show Chief Judge Beryl Howell's review in August of a request from prosecutors to access documents obtained in a search as part of a bribery-for-pardon investigation. The filings don't reveal a timeline of the alleged scheme, or any names of people potentially involved, except that communications between people including at least one lawyer were seized from an office that was raided sometime before the end of this summer. https://www.dcd.uscourts.gov/sites/dcd/files/20gj35 Partial Unsealing Order.pdf
December 01, 2020 - 06:48 PM EST Obama: You lose people with 'snappy' slogans like 'defund the police' https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...fund-the-police?amp&__twitter_impression=true
I do not disagree with what Obama's saying. We've already had the discussion on here like a couple weeks back or whatever about how "Defund the police" as a phrase was pretty bad "PR" for what the idea actually is about, and a lot of people dug into what it sounds like on the surface and what it actually represents in full. About a year ago, he had some good thoughts on people being overly "woke" that also made plenty of sense. Of course, this is a guy who has opinions I will certainly respect given his position in life and that he was a guy that was not so ridiculously bipartisan like we've seen out of his successor.
President Trump is threatening to veto a defense policy bill unless it ends protections for internet companies that shield them from being held liable for material posted by their users..aka he doesn’t like Twitter flagging his hate speech and misinformation. Government shutdown incoming in 9 days!
Agreed. There's always blow back. That's why you have to be more political with phrases. If you want public support, lie your ass off. If the public doesn't like green Kool-Aid, tell them it's blue. "What, this? No, this isn't green, it's blue. It's alternative-blue."
