That documentary they just put up about the Oklahoma City bombing is incredibly fascinating...and heartbreaking.
Binged through Masters of None season 2. Great great season! I added Don't Think Twice (Keegan Michael Key, Gillian Jacobs, and Mike Birbiglia) and Win It All (Jake Johnson, Keegan Micahel Key, and Joe Lo Truglio) to my queue. Both movies have good casts and interesting premises.
Grateful Dead documentary 6/2. Some of you have to be fans, I know Tim is into them. I think he got his inspiration for the mutron/envelope filter effects he uses (BTGS, Amber, Sand Dollars, etc...) from Jerry.
Finished 13 Reasons Why and now I don't know what to watch...oh shit isn't Kimmy Schmidt premiering tonight or tomorrow?
I'm going to start watch the new seasons of Masters of None and Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt in less than ten minutes.
Honestly I feel like Netflix just exploded with content over the past 6 months. There is literally too much to consume. I'm only one man!
Having to work for a living really gets in the way of all of the music, movies, tv shows, and video games I would like to enjoy.
Didn't the new Bloodline come out? That's a great show, but I hope they don't drag it on for too long...
Yeah, it can be overwhelming when you think about how long it would take to watch all the shows you find interesting. When someone at work starts telling me about some great new show I need to watch it's all I can take to not get mad or start laughing.
May have already mentioned this but I watched the first episode of Mad Men and I wasn't impressed whatsoever. Didn't find any of the characters appealing and interesting whatsoever. Don ends up married with kids at the end of the episode. Big fucking deal. I was wanting to like it but I just think I would be forcing myself through 7 seasons of hour long episodes. That's a lot to invest in.
We finally watched Luke Cage. Loved it. I kept hearing the second half is worse - and it kind of is, but it's more just different. Very good season. I'm trying to convince my wife that Iron Fist looks like some bullshit, and we should save ourselves 13 hours and just read recaps for Defenders. Dear lonely, comic-obsessed 14-year old me : older you is trying to get your WIFE to not watch a tv show based on a comic book. Let that sink in.
