Idk. He’s never even started a game in college.. just seems risky. Then again, there is no “guarantee” in this draft.
I get it but I don't think the fact he never started a game is really relevant. After the top 3 picks the next 6-8 were really interchangeable, IMO. It's certainly high risk but the Bulls need guys with high ceilings and the new front office has a great history with player development. Remember, our new head of the front office drafted Jokic, Jamal Murray and Porter Jr for the Nuggets. So it may not work out but I trust his judgment. Plus, at best, the Bulls are competing for one of the last playoff spots in the East so this gives him time to develop behind Otto Porter Jr. You can't win without stars so in a weak draft why not take a swing?
Okay guy. Just funny that you're too scared to name someone. Someone might quote something you said about a meaningless topic someday! Nooooo!!!!
This was a 'meh' draft for the wolves. The only thing they did that might make them better was get Rubio who will help get players open looks and manage the game. Otherwise, all these draft picks will be on another team, or out of the league in 5 years and no one will remember that any of them were on the wolves at the beginning of their career.
Was glad to see that the Wizards and OKC swapped second round picks. When I saw that Washington picked a point guard from the Czech republic coming off an ACL injury, I thought they had let Ernie grenfeld back in the GM chair. So bad! Then we got Cassius Winston who was actually one of just a couple players that I liked in the second round, not that I know most of the guys who were actually taken. Obviously, he's not Draymond Green, but a 4-year Michigan State player who was really good in college but a bit undersized for the NBA with knocks on his athleticism. His production in college makes me think he can have a career as a backup point guard in the NBA, at least. We'll see!
Not sold on the Wizards first round pick. I like his potential more than some others we could've walked away with though. Saw plenty of mocks with Cleveland taking Deni and Wizards taking Okoro and I'm glad it went the opposite way. Liked Deni's set up with just a few people in front of a wall of wine. Hahaha. Looked high-class!
